So let's be honest...a little bit of nerdy is sexy. Idk about you, but personally, brains are the number 1 thing I am attracted to in a guy (aside from muscles and long flowing hair, but that'll be another post). Anyways, I attended a "business theme" party a few nights ago. The party itself was just sub-par, but hey, my outfit, hair and make-up was on point.

So for my make-up, I did my foundation like normal, nothing overly fancy. The foundation I used was Maybelline Fit Me! in 315 liquid and then 315 powder. Normally when I go out, ill do a full-contour face, but for this, I kept it simple. I just used a little bit of Nars Laguna on my cheek bones, collar bones, and temples and then some Benefit High Beam on my nose and under brow. For my eyes, I used the Physicians Formula "Nude" Shimmer Strips Palette: light color on whole lid up to brow, medium brown on lid, darkest brown in crease. This is a very good palette, if you havent tried it, I encourage you to do so. Nothing crazy. Now, my eyeliner was very thick and dramatic. I used Heng Feng Bear Eyeliner (see last post) and it lasted all night: did not sweat off, did not smudge. My lips I just outlined in a color similar to my lip (Max Factor Cognac) and used a clear gloss (Bobbi Brown lip gloss in Clear). I kept my make-up simple because I knew my nerdy glasses would do the talking for me.
My hair was nothing to crazy either. I used my curler that I use every single day, my Hot Tools 1 1/4" ceramic curler and I curl just the ends. I tease the crown and use Herbal Essences Volumizing Mousse to keep it high all night. Also, by curling just the ends, you don't have to worry about your hair falling throughout the night. If you curl your whole head, it's bound to fall and look kinda shabby, but if you just do the ends, it's not really going to fall and it if does, who cares its just the ends.
...and yes, my shoes were Red Bottoms.
thanks for reading!
