After weeks of slaving over a project, I now have time for my long-awaited Paris post, which I could even title my Post du Jour. Anyways, it has always been my dream since I was a little girl to visit Paris. I had a Paris theme room, Parisian trinkets, little Eiffel Towers scattered all throughout my room, you get the gist. I was so incredibly excited stepping off of the plane knowing I could finally stand under the Eiffel Tower.
First off, I will start with the shopping. The shopping was obviously the best shopping I have ever witnessed. One of my favorite places was the Laduree macaroon boutique. This was the exact one that Chuck went to buy Blair her favorite macaroons, so of course I had to go to buy myself some. My favorite flavor was the Marie Antoinette Tea, which in my picture is the blue one. 10/10 so yummy.
Another amazing shop in Paris was the three-story Louis Vuitton. I have never seen so many LVs in my life, and it was definitely unlike any store in the US. Even if you know ahead of time you cannot afford anything in the store, I would still recommend stopping inside to get inspired and get ideas. Speaking of three-story, there is also a three-story Cartier Jewelers right by the Arc di Triomphe. To put how much jewelry was in this store in perspective, think about how little space jewelry takes up, but there were three floors of jewellery. That is a TON of gold, silver and gems. |
Lastly, I do not know how many of my readers are car enthusiasts like myself, but if you go into a car boutique (yes, they have car boutiques), you can see some real Le Mans cars that have raced and won. This may only appeal to people who play racing video games, have knowledge of European cars, or know a thing or two about the grand Le Mans race, but it is still so cool to see these cars.
Thank you for reading.
xoxo
