I am the type of person who believes all “-isms” are bad. I am also more of a “go big or go home” type of girl when it comes to my makeup and fashion choices. However, I have been loving the whole concept of minimalism lately. Especially against the snow a sleek, white tailored jacket looks lovely. Also, it’s a fairly affordable trend as well. Here are some examples:
Shoes: These ankle bootie I purchased from Target as well for $25. The style of them is totally minimalist, but the hardware adds a bit of edge to a simple outfit.
Hat: Black, wide hats are definintey a thing to own this winter and they fit the minimalist bill as well. You can find one at Forever 21 or even I saw a cute one at Payless.
Fragrance: Narcisco Rodriguez is a fsn of minimalism and it shows in this sleek vial design. The scent itself is also very versatile: can be used day or night, spring to winter.
Make-up: Minimalist make-up, although not my thing, I definitely have an appreciation for. I actually wish I had softer, more delicate features so I could rock minimalist makeup. All you need is a good, dewy-like foundation (Cargo CC Cream Foundation is perfect and you can often find it in the sale section of Ulta), some good mascara, eyebrow cream, a soft pink blush, and a nude or skin-toned lip color.
