Come spend your morning with me and see how I keep all my make-up looking clean and tidy! We all have those products: especially Nars and Elf that seem to like to attract particles from all your other makeup and make the packaging look...rather yucky. Plus, there's nothing worse than picking up your eyeshadow palette and getting old powder foundation all over your fingers: today I will show how to stop this from happening. Keep your make-up looking nice and new and grime-free.
What you will need:
*Daily Brush Cleaner
*A clean handtowel
*Tissues
*Cotton Balls
*...some dirty makeup!
Step 1: Turn on your favorite music: this process can take long and requires you to sit still.
Step 2: Collect all your makeup you wish to polish up. Lay it all out on either a clean towel or tissues.
Step 3: Apply some baby oil to a cotton ball or tissue. Use a cotton ball for removing powders or other grime, use a tissue if your compacts are sticky: a sticky compact will cause the cotton ball to stick to it and will result in fuzz stuck to your compact..ew!
Step 5: using a clean handtowel, wipe off all of the oil. I personally like to use a white towel so I can see all the grime that comes off! Viola, you have good-as-new make up compacts, bottles, lipsticks, ect. This technique can work on ANY makeup, I just used my Nars collection because they were the dirtiest.
As an artist, we know how important it is to keep your brushes clean. What happens if we don't get all the old paint off our bristles? The paint dries and the brushes can not be used anymore. It is the same concept with makeup brushes: if you go too long without cleaning them, the bristles can permanently become stained or ruined.
What you will need...

*tissues
*glass of fresh water
*...some dirty brushes!
