One More thing off the Bucket List

Hello Loves:

I am aware that my blog has been rather dry lately, and I must apologize. As I am sure many of you know, college is work. When the school work piles up, that means less time for posts =(
Anyways, this weekend I managed to check another item off of my what seems like it never ends bucket list. We all know those couples who make cheesy bucket lists together, right? Yeah, well I’m half of one of those cheesy couples. I have always wanted to go to a concert with the love of my life, but it never seemed like we agreed on the same music taste.

He called me and told me we were going to an EDM show, so I was like yeah okay whatever, I am not a huge follower of the EDM genre, so I was indifferent.

The show was held in Downtown Cleveland at the one and only House of Blues. The group or band or DJ, I do not know the proper terminology was called “Adventure Club”. We somehow managed to be in the right place at the right time because this man we met at the bar (called “The Greenhouse in Downtown Cleveland—adorable!!) had extra VIP box seat tickets. Luck

The Greenhouse Tavern is a really cool, almost retro bar that has old bikes hanging from the ceiling, two levels, and the walls are made from bookcases filled with old VHS tapes. I terribly wanted to snap a picture, but it was a little bit too dark to get a good one. The pictures above are simply just the street it was on and the outside. It can be found tucked away on 2038 E 4th St, Cleveland, OH 44115. Apparently you can order a whole pigs head?

I must admit the show was AMAZINGGGG. The colors were so vivid and fluorescent, none of my pictures have had their colors edited. The box seats made it 10,000x better because my short self probably would not have gotten nearly as many awesome pictures as I did that night. And the sound was incredible—definitley different from the usual concerts I attend. My favorite part was easily when they did their remix on The Weeknd’s “The Hills”. Overall, I must admit, I am a new fan.

I would love to attend more shows like this one in the future, especially with Nick. Not only am I fascinated by this new sound and crowd, but I shocked myself when I looked at the photos I took once I left. Maybe next time I can sneak in as press ;)
