What is better than swimming, sun, colorful fashion, concerts, and pina coladas? If you are in NYC, of course. I was fortunate enough to be an intern in NYC for the summer, so I have had the opportunity to liv as a New York native and shop like one too (which is starting to get my bank account into trouble). The following products have either been given to me by a local New York City company, or I purchased them on my shopping sprees. I am so glad I have obtained such quality made-in-NY goods that I will treasure for a long time. So let's get started:
This is my haul from a New York City-based company named Laline. It was founded by two talented Israeli cousins who wanted to take their talents to the US and opened their flagship store right in Times Square! The best part about Laline is they do a special of buy-2 get one free, or buy 3 get 2 free--with any items in the store! Mix and match all you want: definitely check them out if you are in the Times Square/ Broadway area. Here's what I got more closely:
My adorable Laline Hairbrush. A large paddle brush that is actually really luxurious quality. It has a cute "Laline" logo on the back, but you can not really see it in these pictures. There is also a matching hand mirror. $8.95 Laline.
The next two products are from the Laline Coconut Verbena collection. I got the Bubble Bath and Body Scrub. The body scrub is luxurious and completely removes all dead skin cells. The bath bubble smells heavenly and is also very cleansing. Body Scrub: $26.00, Bubble Bath: $12.00
The next product is from the Monoi Collection: which is a blend of vanilla and musk. I got a cute little hand cream with taxi cabs on it that is specially made for the New York store.
The next product/ company I have grown attached to is NYC-based lingerie company called Morgan Lane. Morgan makes the CUTEST lingerie and sleepwear I have ever seen, and this pale yellow silk eye mask was something I had to have. Th picture you see on my site are 100% authentic just-woke-up selfies, and I feel I wake up 100x more fabulous when I use my Morgan Lane eyemask. Shop the collection here: http://www.morgan-lane.com

Up next is Drybar's "The Sheriff" Hairspray. While,yes, they do sell it outside of NYC, I find that this is the only and I mean ONLY hairspray that keeps my hair the style I want it in the NYC heat. I bought this so my hair would last all day during my internship, and it definitely did the trick. $17.00 Sephora.
Up next is this lovely pear-scented candle from Voluspa. It smells very fresh-not fake and waxy like some candles. Also, the wax is coconut based! You can actually also find Voluspa candles at many floral shops in New York on 28th. $12. Volupsa.
Lastly, one of my favorite products that I will use for a very long time is the Muji Moisturizing Facial Milk. It is a blend of Japanese ingredients and milk to create a lush milk that makes my face feel like I just left the spa. It comes in many variations too, I just prefer the one for sensitive skin. $7.50. Muji. mujius.com
PS, this is the nail polish I have been obsessed with all summer. It is from Sephora and it is called Cozy Morning. Perfect for spring or summer, day or night! Sephora. $5.00.
